Skilled Nursing (SN)

Home Health Aide (HHA)
Assist the patient with personal care and hygiene, ambulation, and exercises under professional supervision.

Physical Therapy (PT)
Utilization of adaptive equipment and aid in rehabilitation. Restore specific loss of function, range of motion and strength through therapeutic exercise.

Social Services (MSW)
Assist patients and their families cope with personal and emotional impact of illness or disability. Will also help to locate financial resources and community assistance such as home meal delivery or support groups.

Speech Therapy (ST)
Assist patient in regarding speech, which may have been impaired following illness or accident.

Occupational Therapy (OT)
Assist with developing activities and facilitate maximum self care and return to former function.

Nutritional Guidance
Assist the patient in understanding accepting and following special diets as prescribed by physician.

Alzheimer & Dementia Care
Our skilled nurses are trained to care for Alzheimer and Dementia patients in their own homes. We provide patience and the attentive care they require, such as ensuring the patient's home is a safe, liveable environment by eliminating risks. The best home for a patient of memory loss is a familiar surrounding. Our nurses will guide patients to an enjoyable, worry-free, routined way of life. These services include teaching of medication instructions.

Wound Care
Medcare Home Health Services, Inc. provides our patients with the supplies and education needed to treat open wounds (ex: pressure & stasis ulcers). Our nurses keep track of each patient's wounds and their progress, making sure they are treated efficiently.
